The Gosh Dam Place is located at the junction of the Winnie Dam Road (County Road 9) and State Highway 46, just one mile east of the Winnie Dam on Lake Winnibigoshish, 12 miles north of Deer River, Minnesota, just one hour's drive from Red Lake and less than 100 miles from the Canadian border.
